Seattle Green Lake Public Library PoetsWest Reading 2019 Schedule

The 2018 readings were awesome with  Sierra Golden & Shankar Narayan starting off the year.  Claudia Castro Luna, Washington State Poet Laureate, read in October and many of the new features amazed us with fine work.  Poets Chris Buckley, who has been a regular at the reading will feature with Lola Peters from the AAWA.  Chris has a new book out.  Chad Sokolovsky (new book), Tara Hardy (new book), Ben Schmitt (new book), Bill Carty will all be featured and Sierra Golden, with her new book, will return!  In July, two San Diego poets, Jimmy Jazz and Micheal Klam will travel to Seattle to delight and enlighten us!  These two are not to be missed.  They will be something new for Seattle.

All the featured poets for 2019 are excellent, exciting and entertaining.  There is always and open mic.  If you are interested in a feature, please send samples of your poetry, mention where you’ve read and if you have books in print:  Inquire via email @  raynroberts66@gmail.com or J. Glenn Evans @ https://www.poetswest.com/contact.php

Here’s the latest featured Poets coming to Green Lake
